Multi-disciplinary designer and creative director rooted in the Swiss Riviera — working at the intersection of interior design, curation, and lived beauty.
the STUDIO
From what is seen to what is felt.
The studio is a multidisciplinary creative practice based in Montreux, working across interiors, retail concepts, brand direction and visual storytelling. Each project is shaped by close attention to place, material and atmosphere—and to the lasting impression a space or story creates.
The work begins with looking: at how a room is lived in, how a collection comes together, what a landscape suggests, or what a client is trying to express. From there, the process becomes one of research, editing and composition—clarifying the idea, removing what distracts and giving form to what matters.
-
Interior decoration, renovation, sourcing and spatial concepts for private residences and hospitality. I bring together material, light, colour and objects to create intentional, distinctive, liveable environments, working with trusted technical collaborators according to each project.
-
Bringing curatorial thinking to retail and commercial spaces through brand partnerships, buying, merchandising and visual consulting- informed by the daily practice of building Riviera Concept Boutique. I work with brands and independent retailers on product selection, positioning, display and the experience that connects an object to its customer through storytelling.
-
Thoughtful creative direction, photography, editorial concepts, installations and events for brands, spaces and hospitality. Each project begins with a clear point of view and becomes a coherent visual world.
THE FOUNDER
A practice built through curation.
I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, studied Art History in Rome, and went on to work across luxury goods and hospitality in the US, Italy and Switzerland. Moving between these places and sectors taught me to observe closely: how people move through a space, what materials communicate, how objects relate to one another and how thoughtful decisions shape an experience.
I founded Riviera Concept Boutique in Montreux in 2019, in a twelve-square-metre space with one large window. It was intended as a small pop-up to help cover the rent on a commercial space we had repurposed, but it quickly caught on and took on a life of its own.
Seven years and two moves into larger spaces along the Rue du Pont later, clients began asking us to bring the same perspective into their homes and businesses. The boutique naturally became more than a conventional shop: it became a testing ground for ideas and the physical expression of a wider body of work.
Running my own business has taught me to test creative ideas against margins, operations, timing and real customer behavior—as well as the life a business is meant to support. I understand the numbers behind a project, recognze where costs and risks can hide, and help clients pursue ambitious ideas without making avoidable, expensive mistakes. For me, a compelling idea becomes truly valuable when it can also work in the real world.
My approach is equally shaped by hospitality and the art world. Years spent working with exceptional products have taught me how presentation, context and attention to detail influence perception and create value. At the boutique, I have never thought of an object as simply being sold; it is placed with the person and in the setting where it belongs. I bring that same care to design, sourcing and business advice.
Life is lived in small moments. The objects, spaces and rituals that accompany them should make those moments more beautiful, inspiring and restorative.
